Recycling Colors: Candle Making

Have some old crayons lying around? Recycle them and make candles!

Candles can be used for decoration, presents, a natural light source within rooms in your house or you can sell them and make some extra cash.

  • Candles are fun to make and can also be a good way to recycle some old knick-knacks around the house. Seashells can be added to the candles, old jewelry or trinkets. You can use glass baby jars, glasses, cups, containers, anything that will be able to handle the heat of the wax and safely allow the wick to burn.

Here is another cool idea that brings crayons and candles
    together.
